존 마크와 자니 알몬드 두사람은 60년대 런던 음악 씬에서 여러 뮤지션들의 세션으로 참여하다,
60년대 말 John Mayall's Bluesbreakers에서 함께 활동하게 된 걸 계기로 '마크 알몬드'란 팀을 이루게 된다.
이 앨범은 그들의 첫번째 앨범으로 락, 재즈, 블루스, 팝이 어우러진 독특한 앨범이다.
